How to clean your Smartphone without any Cleaner Apps?

Is your Android device performing slower? There is a possibility that your device may run out of storage space.

Running out of memory can adversely affect your device in some ways - at worst, you may not even be able to open apps.

Here are a couple of tips to enhance your device performance.

Hello People! Today's topic is "How to free up space on your Android Phone?"

Clear all cached app data:

Many Android apps use stored or cached data to offer you a far better user experience.  Cached data saves some time but files stored in app caches are not necessarily useful.  If you want to quickly clear space on your phone, the first thing you need to look for is App Cache.  To clear the cache in a single tap,

go to Settings> Storage and tap on the cached data to clear the cache of all the apps on your phone.

Delete unwanted apps:

On the Apps screen, click on the app you no longer need and uninstall it. To do so, Go to settings>Apps>Uninstall unused apps

After you remove apps that you no longer use, you can immediately see difference in the available space on your device.

Back up to Google Photos:

Google Photos allows you to back up an unlimited number of photos. i.e., every photo you take with your Android phone can be backed up directly to Google Photos. Once your photos are protected, you can delete them from your device to release space.

-You have to turn on Google Photos Backup & Sync feature to take advantage of this free cloud storage space.  To do this, open the Google Photos app, go to Settings> Backup & Sync and turn it on.

Move apps to microSD card:

Apps will probably take up more storage space on your phone.  If you have an Android phone to add a microSD card for extra storage, you can move some of your storage to that microSD card using apps.  Settings> Apps> Search for Apps> Storage> 'Change> View Move Note: If this button is not available your phone will not allow apps to be moved to the SD card, or an app will not do this.

Clean up your downloads:

Albums that you download can eat a lot of data. There is a downloads folder on your Android phone that stores everything you download - photos, videos, documents and other files.  Most of the files in your downloads folder may not be the files you specifically attached.  So you can free up some storage space by deleting these unnecessary files.

Don't use any Cleaner Apps:

There are many cache cleaner or speed booster apps available in the Play Store. These apps take up more space on your phone, and can even slow down performance by constantly running in the background. Often, they're full of ads. Avoid using such apps.

Files By Google App:

The main interface of this app will show you junk files, duplicate files, large files, unused apps(if you have any).

Using this app, you can clear the space with a few taps.  Delete old photos and memes from chat apps, remove duplicate files, delete unused apps, clear your cache and more.  You will get a prompt to remove junk or temporary files

You can also use to see how much free space is left on your phone

Delete Thumbnails:

The thumbnails are basically a replica  of the photos or images on your device.

A thumbnail of every image on device is automatically generated and will be stored in a cache.

In the file explorer, open the DCIM folder, In "DCIM" folder, delete any file or folder with the name .thumbnails. If it doesn't appear, then enable the "Show hidden files" option in the file browser settings.

And many folders in your device contains cache in it. Example Whatsapp, it contains database file and other cache storage files. Remove the files starting with dot(.) and files having size of 0 Bytes.

After this process, your device will work better and thank me later 😁
